Obituary for Mr. Raymond Foster Whitworth Raymond Foster Whitworth, 87, husband of the late Virginia Hill Whitworth, of 125 Whitworth Drive, Long Creek, SC, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018, at his residence. A native of Long Creek, SC, Mr. Whitworth was the son of the late Henry Grady Whitworth and Roma Genelia Smith Whitworth. He retired from the textile industry and was of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Whitworth is survived by his sons: Danny Whitworth of Seneca, SC; and Dennis Whitworth of Seneca, SC; daughter: Rita Ricketts of Seneca, SC; brothers: Norman Whitworth of Walhalla, SC, Bruce Whitworth of Walhalla, SC and Bernice Whitworth of Seneca, SC; sisters: Evelyn Smith of Seneca, SC and Jean Brooks of Seneca, SC; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Whitworth was preceded in death by his son: David Whitworth; and brothers: Walter Whitworth and Howard Whitworth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Saturday, prior to the service at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted. The family is at their respective homes.
