Obituary for Mr. Richard Dickie Moody Richard Dickie Moody, 83, loving husband of 64 years to Gladys Smith Moody, of 645 Playground Road, Walhalla, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018, at GHS Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Boise, Idaho, Mr. Moody was the son of the late Doc and Ollie Belle Hudson Moody. He retired as the owner and operator of Dickie’s House of Flowers.

Mr. Moody was a part of the Men’s Witness Sunday School Class at College Street Baptist Church, where he was a member. In addition to his wife, Mr. Moody is survived by his sister: Bonnie Moody Stewart of Seneca; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moody was preceded in death by his brothers: Jack Moody, Frank Moody and his twin Billie Moody; and sisters: Bertha Mae Smith and Ruth Carpenter.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with visitation following. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Oconee Hospice of the Foothills, GHS Cottingham Hospice House, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Service, Seneca, SC 29672, College Street Baptist Church, Church Food Bank, PO Box 340, Walhalla, SC 29691 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family is at the home.
