Dean Bobst, 74, of South Charleston, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018. He was born on June 19, 1944, in Springfield, the son of the late Willard E. and Virginia (Timmons) Bobst. Dean was a retired farmer and later worked for the Clark County Engineers Department.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ginger (Davis) Bobst, children: Tom (Teresa) Bobst, Amanda (Chad) Hobbs; seven grandchildren: Miranda, Matthew, Makayla, Cason, Kaylee, Camryn and Cole; one sister, Barb (Ron) Harbage, and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 14th from 5-8:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am with Pastor Charles Wertz officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Rose Hill Mausoleum. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Miami Valley Hospital Critical Care Unit for their care and compassion. Memorial contributions may be made to the Journey of Faith Fellowship Church, 163 N. Chillicothe St., South Charleston.
