Dolores “Dee” Ann Allen September 11, 1943 – January 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Dolores Ann “Dee” Allen, 75, of Blocker, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at her home. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bishop Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Palestine Cemetery, north of Quinton.

Rev. Monty Thompson will officiate with Mr. Ernest Brown assisting. Honorary pallbearers will be James Lee Allen, William Fred Allen, Jr., Rick Ramsey, Tim Carpitche, Jericho Carpitche, and Kemp Woods.

Dolores Ann was born on September 11, 1943 in Tulsa. She was a daughter of Willis and Roxanna (Partridge) Woods. She graduated from Vinita High School, and attended beauty college in Miami.

She worked as a beautician for a number of years in Tulsa. Dee married William Fred Allen on February 8, 1987 in Blocker. She worked as a beautician in her home for a few years before becoming a homemaker.

She enjoyed crafting, knitting, and crocheting. She would often attend craft shows and sell her homemade items. Dee was the area captain for the Southeast corner of Oklahoma of TOPS, Taking Off Pounds Sensibly, for 6 years.

Throughout her lifetime, she was active in a Baptist church, but in 2000, she made Frink Baptist Church her church home. She is survived by her husband: William Fred Allen of the home; sons: James Lee Allen and wife, Sam of Blocker, William Fred Allen, Jr. and wife, Margaret of Hartshorne; grandchildren: James Ray Allen, Jessica Allen, and Mandy Kay Allen; great-grandchildren: Zach, Zane, Gunner, and Hunter Harrison, Quincy Allen, Jadence, Landon, and Kaden Gonzalez. She is also survived by her brothers: Ronald Woods of McAlester, Danny Woods of North Little Rock, Arkansas; sister: Deanna Carpitche and husband, Tim of Ada; and a number of nieces and nephews including a special niece: Jill Marie Carpitche.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents: Willis and Roxanna Woods and a brother: Roger Woods.
