Obituary for Doris M. Schuppan Doris M. Schuppan, 91 of Grand Island died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Tiffany Square. Services will be 11 AM Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church. Reverend Lisa Ewald will officiate.

Burial will be in the Grand Island Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Doris was born March 27, 1927 at Hastings, Nebraska the daughter of Edwin and Edna (Knapp) Fricke.

She was raised in Hasting, graduating from Hastings High School. On November 19, 1946 she was united in marriage to Dale Schuppan. She served as a bookkeeper for the family business, Schuppan’s Sales & Service, Inc. Memberships include First Presbyterian Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

She belonged to gardening clubs and enjoyed bingo and genealogy. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Larry (Janie) Schuppan of Omaha and Diane (Jake) Kenyon of Grand Island; grandchildren, Jeff and Becky Fahrenbruch, Amie and Mihir Patel, Jake and Julie Schuppan, Shane and Kelcie Keeling, Zach and Emily Keeling; 9 great-grandchildren, brother, Robert Fricke, 3 sisters-in-law, Ormah Schuppan, Burdetta Fricke, and Dorothy Fricke, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale who died in 1989; her parents; son-in-law Jerry Fahrenbruch, two brothers, Richard and Howard Fricke and brothers-in-law, Bill Schuppan and Gene Schuppan.
