Dorothy Irene Adams, 82, of Iverness, Florida, passed away on September 8, 2018 at Hospice of Citris and the Nature Coast in Lecanto, Florida. Dorothy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 17, 1936, the daughter of Irvin and Gwendolyn (Henson) Clingerman. She married John W. Adams on June 1, 1996 and they moved to Florida in 1999.

Adams of Iverness, Florida; 2 sons: Michael Grove and wife Linda of Brazil, Indiana and Larry Grove and wife Cindy of Staunton, Indiana; 2 daughters: Madonna Grove of Chicago, Illinois and Linda Kay Certa of Grand Junction, Arizona; her brother and sister Dean Clingerman and wife Debby of Brazil and Wilma Ellison of Brazil, Indiana as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members and friends. Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave.
