Rita C. Jones, 63, of Harmony, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 in Exceptional Living Center of Brazil. She was born on March 8, 1955 in Brazil, the daughter of John B. Harper and Betty Portemont Harper. Rita was a 1973 graduate of Van Buren High School.

She was a financial advisor for St. Vincent Clay Hospital. Rita attended Harmony United Methodist Church and was a member of the Emmaus Community. She loved to read, write poetry, work puzzles and playing cards.

Survivors… Read More » include her loving husband of sixteen years, Greg Jones of Harmony; a daughter, Nikki Dawson of Rockville; two brothers, Tony Harper and Jack Harper and his wife Vonna, both of Brazil; grandchildren, Harper, Foster and Hensley; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. Rita was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Marc Harper. No visitation or services are scheduled.
