Eric A. Glontz April 24, 1986 – December 29, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Eric A. Glontz, 32, of Gamma Rd. , Corry, Pa. , died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, December 29, 2018.

He was born April 24, 1986, in Erie, Pa. , a son of William A. Glontz of Columbus, Pa. , and Judith A. Thompson Glontz of Ashville, N.C. Eric was raised and educated in Corry and graduated from Corry Area High School in 2004.

He then began working for Corry Manufacturing, working in the tool room. He later worked in the Lazer Tech department. Eric worked for Corry Manufacturing for 13 years.

He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, kayaking and gaming. Eric was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed music. Eric was preceded in death by his pateral grandparents, Harry and Josephine Glontz and his maternal grandfather, Vern Thompson.

In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Rodrigues of North Carolina; his step-mother Lou Anne Glontz of Columbus, Pa. ; his wife, Amber C. Ginn Glontz, whom he married October 22, 2011 in Columbus, Pa. ; two sons, Jacob A. and Lucas R. Glontz, both at home; a half-brother, Brian Aikens of Arizona; and a step-brother, Shawn Hughes and his wife J.J. of Ventura, Ca.

He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation held. Family and friends may attend a memorial service at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 327 N. Center St., Corry, Pa.

, on Saturday at 11am. Rev. Mary Norton will officiate.

There will be a luncheon held at the church following the service. Memorials may be made to the Mental Health Association of Northwest PA. , 1101 Peach St., Erie, PA.
