Herbel “Herb” L. McClure Jr., 90 HARTFORD CITY – Herbel “Herb” L. McClure Jr., 90, passed away at 7:45 a.m. June 2, 2018 at Plainfield Health Care Center. He was born on September 30, 1927 in Marion to Herbel L. McClure Sr. and Dorothy C. (Wesling) McClure. Both his parents preceded him in death.

He was an auto salesman before his retirement and an avid golfer. Herb married Lula Jacquelene “Jackie” (High) on September 1989 in Orlando, FL. He is survived by his wife, Lula Jacquelene “Jackie” McClure of Plainfield; daughters, Lana Pedigo of Plainfield, Terri Gilbert of Campbellsburg, KY and Shawn Edwards of Avon; sons, Kevan McClure of Indianapolis and Jeffery (wife, Terrie) Tuttle of Eaton; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry McClure of Florida; sister, Judith Rodgers of Gas City; several nieces and nephews.

He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Bottner, brother, Robert E. McClure and sister, Marjorie L. Barker. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City with Rev. Ron Branson officiating.

Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, Muncie. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Keplinger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Donor’s Choice Online condolences may be sent to www.
