Obituary for Mr. John Brown John H. Brown age 66 of Malone NY passed away on May 14th, 2018, at the University of Vermont/Alice Hyde Medical Center. John resided at Webb Ave IRA and attended North Franklin Community Day Hab. , Citizen Advocates, Creighton Road, Malone.

He will be sadly missed by his peers and staff at his residence and at the Day Hab. setting. He moved to the area in 2000 and touched many peoples’ lives while he lived here.

John was a very social man and liked being outside. He enjoyed hiking, going for long walks, and listening to music of all kinds. Country music however seemed to be John’s favorite.

His smile was from ear to ear. John enjoyed sweets of all kinds. He also enjoyed when staff would sit and talk to him, usually offering them a friendly handshake.

He loved to dance and would stomp his feet and clap his hands while smiling the whole time. John was a gentle man and made many friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the St. Mary-Murphy-Wilcox Funeral Home, Malone from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel.
