Joseph “Joe” Daniel McNeal (Dec. 5th, 1993- Apr. 24th, 2018) Joseph Passed away suddenly on April 24th, 2018 at Marian Medical center.

He was born on December 5th, 1993 in Santa Maria, CA. Joe attended Rice Elementary, Fesler Jr. High school, and graduated from Pioneer Valley High School in 2012. Joe played Center for three years in SMYFL and that continued into high school where he played four years at PVHS.

His mother Laura McNeal, and step father Jesse Vasquez, Stepmother Jennifer Lander, and his father Nash (Claudia) Guerrero, Jr., all of Santa Maria. His brothers Nicholas and Joshua McNeal, Nash Guerrero, and Andrew Vasquez all of Santa Maria. His Sister PO3 Mariah (Irene) McNeal US Navy, of Whidbey Island, WA, Venessa (Aaron) Ramirez, San Diego, CA.

Vianna Guerrero, Katie Vasquez, Angelique and Sofia Guerrero all from Santa Maria. Grandmother and Grandfather Bobbie and Keith Castro, Grandmother MaryLou Guerrero, Great Aunt Darlene (Momma Dar) McNeal, All of Santa Maria. Great Uncle Bernard (Amy) Roy of Pennsylvania.

He had numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his Great Grandmother Ellen McNeal Great Grandfather Clarence McNeal and Great Uncle Tommy McNeal. Services will be held at Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary on Thursday, May 3rd, With the viewing from 3 to 5 PM followed by Rosary at 6 PM.

A Mass will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Friday, May 4th, at 11 AM. Pall bearers for the funeral services will by his brothers Nick and Joshua McNeal, Andrew Vasquez and Nash Guerrero. His sister Mariah McNeal and Stepdad Jesse Vasquez.

Honorary pallbearer will be his best friend Sgt. Aaron Ramirez, USMC. Jo Jo was taken from us in the prim of his life.

His great grandmother Ellen McNeal came to greet her baby boy, Jo Jo, to be with her for all eternity. Whether it was his infectious laugh, kind heart or through his talented football skills, he touched our hearts and was loved by all who know him. To leave a condolence for the family visit www.
