Greene, “Skeeter” age 76 of Loudon, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in Murphy, North Carolina. Born November 19, 1941 in Greeneville, TN, the son of Lawrence F. and Ruth (Randall) Greene. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Frieda Wiggins and Fayetta White; special stepmother, Helen Randall Greene and the mother of his children, Eva Holt Greene.

Skeeter never met a stranger. He loved everyone and was loved by everyone who was blessed to know him. He is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Cari Greene, FL and Terry Greene, NC; grandchildren, Bryan Greene, Jr. and Courtney Greene; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Henry Mitchell, Maryville and Barbara Schrimsher-Lomax and Ted Lomax, Loudon, Teresa Ricker and Robin Blake, several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Services honoring and remembering Skeeter Greene will be held 2:00 PM Friday, McGill-Karnes Chapel with Rev. Walt Simmerman officiating. Interment to follow in New Steekee Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 12:30 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at McGill-Karnes Funeral Home, 406 Wharf St. Loudon, TN 37774. www.
