Obituary for Lisa Denise Hank Lisa Denise Hank, 55 Lisa passed to her heavenly home April 12, 2018 at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. Lisa was born in Ord, Nebraska March 3, 1963 the daughter of Gaylord & Lois (Fillinger) Hank. The family moved to Grand Island when she was 4 years old.

She was member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was baptized, confirmed, and attended K-8 at Trinity Lutheran School. She attended high school at Northwest High School and Grand Island Senior High. She developed a strong faith and loved her Lord, Church and the Bible.

She enjoyed Nebraska football, loved her little Yorkie D.O.G., angels, cooking and baking. She loved “family time” with her mother and sisters as her best friends. Lisa had a sense of humor that kept a special family of nurses laughing.

She enjoyed over ten years of recovery from her addiction before succumbing to the debilitating disease of Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy. Those left to cherish Lisa include her mother, Lois Hank; three sisters Ralda, Sonda and Kiffani; two half-brothers Gene and Rodney; her children Andrew and Cami; three grandchildren Lily, Eric and Rachel; her special friend David. She was preceded in death by her father; sister Gayla; half-brother Bob.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Honorary pallbearers are Lisa’s 3 nephews Jason, Quinton and Jaydn. Memorial donations may be made to the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association), Trinity Lutheran School, or donor’s choice.
