Obituary for Sharol L. Hayes Sharol L. Hayes, 77 of Grand Island died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at home with her loving family at her side. Celebration of life service will be 2 PM Sunday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Joel Henson will officiate.

As Sharol had a care for helping others, her body has been donated to the University of Nebraska Anatomical Board. Sharol was born July 31, 1940 at Ansley, NE the daughter of Byrle and Helen (Stucker) Davis. She was raised and received her education in Ansley.

On January 16, 1959 she was united in marriage to Larry Dean Hayes. Sharol received her Real Estate License in 1982. Sharol had many enjoyments including her love of fishing, she loved the horse races and the fun she had with her friends there, pickle cards and playing cards with a group of friends every Tuesday night.

Most of all she enjoyed the time spent with her children and grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Rick (Sherri) Hayes of Rapid City, SD, Wes Hayes of Brady, NE, Julie (fiancé, Sav Mancieri) of Livermore, CA and Karen Hayes of Grand Island; sister, Jean Hammontree of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren, Amanda (Josh) Stern of Lincoln, NE, Lynzie (Scott) Montague and their children, Aspen and Cruz of Rapid City, Abbie Hayes and children, Jayda and Ricky of Grand Island, Whitney Hayes and child, Mesa of Powell, WY, Logan (Nicci) Hayes and children, Harley and Hayden of Brady, NE, Sydney (Kanin) Asay and children, Kasen and Kymber of Powell, WY, Donald Hayes-Ranns of Sacramento, CA, Adam Hayes and children, Dason, Jaidan and Emersyn of Brady, NE and Trevor Hayes of Grand Island. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dean Hayes, her father, Byrle “Buck” Davis, mother, Helen (Stucker) Davis, step-mother, Edith (Reed) Davis, sister, Gail Patterson, brother, Donald Davis and granddaughter, Cheryl Helgoth.
