Obituary for Lucy B Webb Lucy B. Webb, age 95, of Raven, VA passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at her home. Lucy was born in Swords Creek, VA and was the daughter of the late George Washington and Winnie Yates Whitt of Russell County, VA. She was a retired cook of the Mattie Williams Hospital in Richlands, VA.

Lucy was a member of the Ivy Springs Baptist Church and she lived most of her life in the Raven area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shannon Webb; one son, Gaines E. Webb; granddaughters, Kimberly Davis and Amber Blankenship; three sisters, Arbutus Cline, Shirley Baldwin, and Juanita Holmes; and five brothers, Arnold Robinette, Harve Robinette, Garnett Robinette, Buford Whitt and Urshel Whitt She is survived by: Mrs. Monica Richardson and husband, Ronnie of Greenville, GA Mrs. Brenda Davis of Raven, VA Son, Garnett K. Webb and wife, Martha of Bluefield, VA Sisters: Jean Miller of Salem, VA Audrey Noel of MS Special caretaker, her grandson, Jeremy Richardson Also surviving are ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. A memorial service for Lucy B. Webb will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Ivy Springs Baptist Church; 8406 Swords Creek Rd; Swords Creek, VA with Rev.

Phillip Cook officiating. Per her request, her body was donated to science and inurnment will take place at Greenhills Memory Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the building fund of the Ivy Springs Baptist Church.
