Marilyn Diana Stoneking-Pritchett January 04, 1945 – December 31, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Marilyn Diana Stoneking-Pritchett (nee: Tellman), 73 years of age, and a resident of Elyria, passed away the evening of Dec. 13th, 2018, at her home following a sudden illness. She was born January 4, 1945, in Elyria, Ohio.

Marilyn was raised in Lorain, graduating from Lorain High School with the class of 1964. She had made her home in Elyria for many years. After graduation, Marilyn briefly studied nursing.

Her primary focus in life was that of a homemaker. In her later years, she was employed at Center Ridge Nursing Home as the activities coordinator. Marilyn was a member of Tower Baptist Church in Lorain where she sang in the choir.

She loved her pets Buckley, Peaches and Wulugie. Marilyn enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved being outdoors, walking and feeding the hummining birds. Her greatest joy was being with family socializing around board games.

Survivors include her son Mark Stoneking of NV, her “daughter” Lisa “Felicia” Stoneking Rohrbough of MA; her grandson Cory; and her sister Shirley Phillips of Oberlin. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Stoneking; her two infant children; her brother Robert Tellman; and her parents Perry and Mary Tellman (nee: Kender). Friends may call Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave.

, Amherst. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at funeral home. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
