Obituary for Mary Alline Mamone Mary Alline Mamone (DeShazer) 91, St. Albans, WV died peacefully Sunday, June 25, 2018 at Bellaire at Devonshire, Memory Care Unit, Scott Depot, WV after a long illness. She was born April 11, 1927 to the late Emmitt Earl and Odie Marr DeShazer in Dallas, Texas. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, first husband, Charles L. Moore, Jr.; late husband Michael D. Mamone and son, Lewis Keith Moore.
Alline was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother and was beautiful inside and out. She had with a contagious smile living a blessed and full life. She dearly loved being with her family and friends and took great pride working in her vegetable garden and flowers in St. Albans where she resided for many years.
She was a great cook and always liked to sew on rainy days making clothes or stitching together a quilt during the winter months. A former member of the St. Albans Women of the Moose Lodge #868, she enjoyed serving desserts to the senior members each Sunday. On Friday and Saturday nights, she could be found attending various auctions in the area until her health began to fail.
Those surviving to cherish her memory include her son, Paul Moore (JoAnn) of St. Albans, daughter, Mary Lynn Shultz (Bill) of Charleston and daughter-in-law, Rita Moore of Poca along with grandchildren, Jeff Moore (Kristy) of Hurricane; Veronica Moore Thornhill, of Poca and Matt Humphries (Laura) of Nitro. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren along with a host of extended family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all but we are at peace to know heaven has another angel.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans, WV with Pastor Ron Moore, also her nephew, officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
The family wishes to express sincere love appreciation to all of her kind caregivers for their devotion, care and attention to her needs throughout her declining years.
