Mary Catherine Williams, age 69, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 in a Tazewell, Virginia hospital. She was born in Cedar Bluff and was the daughter of the late George C. and Hattie Lou West Williams. She was a lifelong resident of the Cedar Bluff area and was a former teachers aide at Cedar Bluff Elementary School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley Hess and Martha Williams; and brothers, Willis Williams and James Andrew Williams. Survivors are: Brothers: Eddie Williams of Pounding Mill, VA Bob Williams and wife, Christine of Cedar Bluff, VA Urshell Williams and wife, Shirley of Princeton, WV Sister In Law: Brenda Williams of Cedar Bluff, VA Funeral services for Mary Catherine Williams will be conducted Monday, March 18, 2019 at 7pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia. Interment will follow Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11am at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be: Lonnie Davis, Eddie Williams, and friends and relatives. Friends may call from 5pm until 7pm Monday evening at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia.
