Obituary for Melvan Lee “LeeBo” Henson Melvan Lee “LeeBo” Henson, 65, of St. Albans passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Oak Hill Hospital, Brooksville, FL. He was born April 15, 1953 to the late John Warren and Catherine Lynn Fletcher Henson. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Marsha Lynn Henson, Margaret Hamilton, Theda Faye Henson and Evelyn May Henson; brothers, Charlie Henson and Michael John Henson.

LeeBo was a retired painter from the Painters Local Union, Charleston. He was an avid golfer and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Big Ben Golf Club and a member of the West Virginia Golf Association.

He look forward every year to play in the golf tournament at the Greenbrier. He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Henson, Brenda Kay Shaffer, Ramona Jean Casdorph, Tina Marie Runyon, Barbara Ruth Nutter and Karen Sue Crawford; brothers, Arnold Ray Henson, Larry Wayne Henson, Jerry Edward Henson, James David Henson and Billy Joe Henson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 2, 2018 at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans with the Rev. Father Patrick M. McDonough officiating. Friends may call from 3 to 5 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
