Obituary for Ronald James Robson Ronald James Robson, 73, of Scott Depot, WV, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at CAMC Teays Valley Hospital, following a lengthy battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was a 1962 graduate of Montgomery High School, and a 1966 graduate of the West Virginia Institute of Technology, of Montgomery, WV, with a degree in mechanical engineering. Born December 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Thomas and Pearl Robson, and brother of the late Norma Jean Freimuth.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Patty Robson; sisters Carole Blanchard (Jim) of Elk Grove Village, Illinois; Brenda Wade (Albert) of Kearny, Arizona, nieces Kimberly Gillaspy of Apache Junction, Arizona; Mary Beth Perry of Mt. Hope, WV; nephews Stephen Freimuth of Merchantville, New Jersey; James Freimuth (Jen) of Cary, Illinois; David Wade (Cindy) of Winkelman, Arizona; Terry Hamrick (Sheila) of Tampa, Florida and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. Ron had 40 plus years of employment with FMC and also Great Lakes Chemical, Nitro WV.

Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at St. John United Methodist Church, 4013 Teays Valley Road, Scott Depot, WV, with Pastor Michael Atkinson officiating the service. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. John United Methodist Church’s building fund.

The family would also like to thank the staff at CAMC Teays Valley for their kindness and concern. They especially would like to thank Dr. Wilson for his patience and compassion. Chapman Funeral Home, family-owned and located at 3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane is honored to serve the Robson family.
