The daughter of Claude Lee Wilson and Bessie Mae (Dodd) Wilson, she was born February 12, 1927 in Goldsby, Oklahoma. Nona was Christian in faith.

In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles, watching soap operas and The Price Is Right. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and OU Football. Nona’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Staggs; two sons, Raymond Staggs, Jr. and Russell Dale Staggs; one granddaughter, Lynn Bell; two grandsons, Marcus Clapp and Kenny Bryant; one great granddaughter, Stormy Ann Wimberly; one great grandson, Derick McCauley; one sister, Irene Carter; and two brothers, Mutt Wilson and Junior Wilson. Nona is survived by eight daughters, Louise Bryant of Moore, Charlotte Wimberly and her husband, Michael, of Moore, Gloria Staggs of Altus, Brenda Daniel and her husband, Jerry, of Moore, Judy Clapp and her husband, Tony, of Moore, Pam Holloway and her husband, James, of Moore, Kimberly Mathis and her husband, Bruce, of Moore, and Robin Wilson and her husband, Kenneth, of Oklahoma City; one son, Rocky Staggs and his wife, Patty, of Moore; twenty two grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Pearl Franklin of Kingfisher and Faye Franklin of Purcell; one brother, Donald Ray Wilson and his wife, Phyllis, of Norman; and many other loved ones and friends. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, November 9, 2018, at the Blanchard Cemetery.
