Ricky D Batchelor, 60, of Brazil, passed away after a short battle with lung cancer and lung disease at Union Hospital on September 17, 2018. Rick was born to David and Emily Batchelor on February 13, 1958. He married the love of his life in 1975, Susan LeLoup, with whom they shared 44 wonderful years and raised two children.

He worked at Great Dane Trailers in Brazil as a welder for 38 years. He was proceeded in death by his parents and several siblings.

Rick enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family and friends, woodworking, and other small projects. He was well respected for his loyalty, strength, and the way he sacrificed for the ones he loved. He was a father figure to some, a partner to one, a loved one to many, and a friend to most.

He will be dearly missed and forever loved by those that were blessed to be a part of his life. No visitation or services are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave, Brazil, IN.
