Robert Bo Eugen Lake , November 04, 1958 — January 05, 2019

Robert “Bob” Eugene Lake, 60, of Horner passed away on January 5, 2019 in the comfort of his own home. Bob blessed this Earth and the lives of his parents, Opal Delores Randolph Lake Pickens of Weston and the late Lawrence Gayne Lake, when he was born in Weston on November 4, 1958. In addition to his mother and step father, Donald R. Pickens, Bob is survived by two daughters: Audrey Hilgenfeld and husband, Adam, of Berkeley Springs, WV, and Teresa Lake of Roanoke, VA; two brothers: Larry Kenneth Lake and wife, Debra, of Fayetteville, NC, and Timmy Lee Lake of Elkview, WV; one sister, Sherri Ann Mitchell and husband, Jerald, of Little River, SC; and one half-sister, Rebecca June Clise and husband, John, of Weston, WV.

Bob is now reunited in Heaven with his father and Golden Retriever, Sam. After graduating from Lewis County High School, Class of 1976, Bob joined the United States Army where he devoted three years to serving his country. For the next 20 years Bob was a cable technician with Triaxe Cable Vision Company.

He spent about five years working in the oil and gas industry until he retired. Bob enjoyed woodworking, building homes and doing home improvement jobs. He also loved rebuilding antique cars, especially Volkswagens.

Bob’s request for cremation has been honored and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew is honored and privileged to serve the family of Robert “Bob” Eugene Lake.
