ROBERT W. “BOB” CORWIN, 66, of Springfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday morning, November 14, 2018 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 5, 1952, the son of Walter C. and Wava M. (Tull) Corwin. Bob was a 1970 graduate of South High School and Clark County JVS and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived… Read More » by his mother of Springfield; a daughter, Lenna Corwin of Sacramento, CA; sisters, Denise “Dee” (Phil) Hale and Shelley (Marc) Kabbes, both of Springfield; brothers, Douglas (Mary) Corwin of Folsom, CA, Donald Corwin of Columbus, OH and William Corwin of Denver, CO; close friends, John and Kim Collins of Springfield; his former spouse, Gloria Pitts; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Linda Childs.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Bob’s funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Dayton National Cemetery.
