Griffin 72 of Marinette passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at home with her family by her side. She was born on June 12, 1946, to the late Melvin and Clara (Hammen) Sater in Madison and graduated from East High School. She had worked at Gardeners Bakery, Wisconsin Graphic Forms and Wisconsin Porcelain.

She enjoyed gambling, casinos, and spending time with her grandchildren. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Doni Jo (Les) Block of Marinette; grandchildren: Tyler, Kaylie (Nathan), Karey (Matt), Kayce (Isaiah), Karver, and Devin; her first great granddaughter on the way, Cassidy Jo; sisters, Carol Schmitt and Della McCredie; very special friends, Wayne and Sheila Perkett; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Glady (Don) Geishirt, Joann (Chuck) Conners, Audrey (Larry Sr.) Keller, and Jean (Fred) Rohner; and Brothers, George Starr Jr. and Richard Starr; brothers in law, Don Schmitt and Virgil McCredie.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Madison in March. Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family locally.
