Stephanie A. (Lacey) Martell, 83, of Gloucester, wife of the late Robert E. Martell passed away peacefully at home on Thursday morning, October 25, 2018. She was born in Gloucester on November 2, 1934, daughter of the late Myles R. and Florence M. (McInnis) Lacey. Stephanie was a graduate of Gloucester High School.

She worked for Fred and Grace Ercolani the owners of Lobsta Land and trained as a bartender and continued with the Grammas Family as their main bartender having worked over 30 plus years, a job she truly enjoyed until her retirement. She loved the people she worked for and especially her regulars and the repeat customers who came just to see her. She enjoyed going to the Rose Baker Senior Center to play bingo and taking trips to Foxwoods with her girlfriends.

Stephanie will be truly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Robert E. Martell II; daughter, Sherri Brewer; granddaughter, Brie-Ann Martell and her companion Michael Barry; great-granddaughter, Lacey Barry; several brothers and sisters; her special friends, Dot Murphy, Ida Christopher and Sheila Williamson. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral services and the burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Cape Ann Animal Aid Association, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930 or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
