Christopher J. Pallazola, 55, of Gloucester, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018. Born in Gloucester on October 5, 1962, Chris was the son of the late Grace R. (Catania) Veerman of Gloucester and Joseph J. Pallazola of San Diego. He attended Gloucester Schools.

Chris was a talented house painter, working for Allen Estes Painting Contractor for many years. Chris was a supportive and protective person, especially with his mother and sister Sara Jean, and dedicated to his mother throughout her recent illness. His sense of humor and childlike innocence and playfulness endeared him to all his family and friends.

Chris especially enjoyed the days of hiking and camping along the Kancamagus with his brothers. He will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his father, Joseph, Chris is survived by his brothers, Gaspar “Gap” Pallazola and wife Patricia of Ipswich, Michael Pallazola and wife Patricia of Gloucester, and his sister, Lucy “LuAnn” Pallazola of Gloucester; nieces, Erin and Megan Pallazola, Christina Kalinowski, Alicia Tarr, Yvette Pallazola, and nephews, Steven Curcuru and Michael Pallazola, Jr. Chris was a great-uncle to Julia and Gray Njoroge and he will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In addition to his mother, Grace, Chris was predeceased by his siblings, Sara Jean Tarr, Joseph J. Pallazola, Jr. and Peter P. Pallazola. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 10, at 9:30 AM in St. Ann Church. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.

There are no visiting hours and the burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be sent to The Pallazola Family, c/o Michael Pallazola, 23 Emerson Ave, Gloucester, MA 01930. Arrangements are by the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester.
