Louise A. (Paquette) Andersen, 98, passed away peacefully, on Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Den Mar Health and Rehabilitation Center in Rockport, MA. Louise was born in New Bedford, MA, on July 7, 1920, the daughter of the late L. Alfred and Alice (Denault) Paquette. She attended school in the Lynn School system and graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1937.

After graduating, she went to work as a secretary for the Peabody School System. Louise volunteered in the Addison Gilbert Hospital gift shop for many years. She was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Lanesville, where she was also involved with the Quilter’s Circle, and was a past secretary for the Lutheran Church Women.

Louise was a wonderful and caring mother, grandmother and friend to so many. Her cheery smile and love of life will be truly missed by all. She is survived by her three sons, Stephen Andersen of Baltimore, MD, Leonard Andersen of Woburn, MA, Robert Andersen and his wife, Doris of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren, Christopher, Stacie and Neti Andersen and seven great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter Stefanie, and her two daughters-in-law Dale Andersen and Toni Andersen. In keeping with her wishes there are no visiting hours and burial will be held privately. A memorial service will be held in St. Paul Lutheran Church on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 1 p.m. Family and friends are cordially invited.

In lieu of flowers, Louise asked that any contributions may be made in her memory to: St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1123 Washington St., Gloucester, MA 01930. Arrangements are by the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St. Gloucester, MA.
