Obituary for William Kenneth Frampton William Kenneth Frampton, 71, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018. Bill was born October 24, 1946 in West Chester, PA, to the late Kenneth and Sarah Frampton. Bill graduated from WV Tech in 1968 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

He then went to work for Union Carbide Chemicals at their Institute WV plant as a production engineer. He spent his entire career with Carbide and its successor agricultural products companies: Rhone Poulenc, AVENTIS, and Bayer. He basically stayed at Institute with interim assignments at Tech Center in South Charleston, WV, as an engineering contractor in Lakeland FL and in Woodbine GA.

he held various positions as Production Engr. , Senior Engr. , Dept.

Head, and Head of Operations. He retired from Bayer Cropscience in February 2005. He has lived in Scott Depot since 1969 except for 2 years in Florida, and 6 months in Georgia.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon Frampton; children, William Frampton (Karla) of Cross Lanes, Jeff Frampton (Lee) of St. Albans, and Kara Frampton of Scott Depot; grandchildren, Dustin Frampton (Mallory), Suzy Rainey (Travis), Justin Frampton, Jeremy Frampton, and Ty Frampton; great-grandchildren, Storey Frampton, Aiden Rainey, Briggs Frampton, and Reece Rainey; and many other extended family and friends. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Thursday October 11, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane, with Chaplain Mike Jarrett officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Cemetery, Belva, WV.

Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
