White was born August 18, 1973, in Gordon, Nebraska to Gabe and Marilyn (Hilliker) Chasing Hawk, and passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln at the age of 45. At an early age, Amy was adopted by Robert White and raised Amy and was a loving father to her. Her family moved to Beaver Crossing where she attended Centennial Public Schools.

Amy earned her Certified Nursing Assistant degree and was employed with various nursing homes over the years, beginning with Hearthstone in York and most recently at Sunrise Country Manor in Milford. Amy enjoyed her work and loving care she provided all of residents over the years. She was united in marriage to Devin Duntz in Wilber and to this union a son, Zeke, was born.

Amy’s family was the center of her life and loved watching her family’s sporting events and other activities. She was an excellent cook, especially her mashed potatoes, was an avid fiction reader and loved participating in book clubs and circles. Amy was also pretty good at showing up and singing Karaoke.

Survivors include her sons, Cameron White and Zeke Duntz, both of Beaver Crossing, a brother, Derek White, Fargo, ND, aunts, Janice Noell, Cave Junction, OR, Katie and Phil Landreth, Rose and Jerry Landreth, all of Rushville, an uncle, Roger Hilliker, Palm Springs, CA, several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marilyn and Robert White. Amy’s wishes were for her to be cremated.

No services are planned and her ashes will be laid to rest at a later date. Amy was an organ donor and her procurement allowed other lives to live on. Memorials may be directed in care of the family.
