Obituary of Aubrey DuMars Aubrey Roberts DuMars, age 86, of Syracuse, formerly of Painted Post, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at VanDuyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Syracuse. He was born on April 27, 1932 in Painted Post, the son of Henry R. DuMars and Mabel (Hume) DuMars. Aubrey graduated from Painted Post High School and he enlisted in the US Air Force.

He retired from Dresser Rand following many years of dedicated service. Aubrey was an avid stamp collector, enjoyed piloting private aircraft, and traveling especially trips to Key West Florida. He is survived by his step son, James (Donna) Toscano of Liverpool, NY, step daughter, Carolyn (John) Mangicaro of Syracuse, and niece, Janie Pruden and Family of Corning, NY.

Aubrey was predeceased by his first wife, Erma DuMars in 1994 and his second wife, Beatrice DuMars in 2018. Family and friends are invited to call at Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 17 West Pulteney St., Corning, on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
