Obituary of Lois Peck Lois J. Peck, age 88, of Campbell, NY passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Fred and Harriett Taylor Health Center of Bath, NY. Lois was born on June 20, 1929 in Bath, NY, the daughter of the late Lason and Gladys (Wilson) Whitney. She married Delbert Peck, who predeceased her in 1991.

She worked for Dresser-Rand of Painted Post and Campbell Central School before beginning employment with John G. Ullman and Associates as a cleaner. In her free time, Lois enjoyed camping with her husband, Delbert. They traveled and camped all over the South and the West with her sisters and brothers-in-law.

She had a love for traveling – and was always ready to go anywhere on the spur of the moment, taking many vacation trips with her grandsons. She also loved to cook, watch QVC, listen to country music, bird watch and watch bears on her porch. Her family would be remiss if they didn’t mention she was always late.

She is survived by children: Gregory (Sharon) Peck of Campbell, NY, Melanie Burgess of Thurston, NY, David (Terry) Peck of Dalton, NY; grandchildren: Paul and Phillip Peck of Thurston, NY, Justin Peck of Nashville, TN, Jesse Peck of Dalton, NY; five great grandchildren; and sisters: Lacene Fleet of Campbell, NY and Mary Ashton of Campbell, NY. Today she is catching up in Heaven with her husband, Delbert; her mom and dad, Gladys and Lason Whitney; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Kenny Decker; and brother-in-law, Duane Fleet. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Thurston Christian Church, 7511 County Route 333, Campbell, NY.

A funeral service will immediately follow at the Church at 3:00 pm, Rev. David Peck officiating. Burial will take place in the family plot in Hope Cemetery, Campbell, NY.
