Obituary of Robert Meneses Dr. Robert Peter Meneses, age 69, of Corning, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at home. He was born on March 28, 1949 in Quezon City, Philippines, the son of Pedro and Trinidad (Pascual Bautista) Meneses. Bob worked as a physician in many different locations and he chose to make Corning his home.

His tenure at Steuben Medical has passed over 3 decades. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, skiing with his son, and painting. Bob had a love of life and enjoyed traveling the world with his family.

He is survived by his significant other, Susan K. Halstead of Corning, son, Giancarlo Robert Meneses of Corning, sisters, Norma Galua, Lourdes Mendoza, Josephine Gundayao, Joanne Matios, Helen Adriano, Myrna Ferrer and Jennifer Lim, brother, Jerry Meneses, very good friends, Dr. Hanna Habash, Dr. Mark Mauer, and Mike Carroll, several nieces and nephews, and all his friends and colleagues at Steuben Medical. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Pedro and Trinidad Meneses and his brothers, Rogelio Pascual and Henry Meneses. Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

Bob’s funeral will take place on Friday at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9666 Chatfield Place, Painted Post. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations in Bob’s name to their favorite charity.
