Obituary of David Schilberger David L. Schilberger, age 77, of Corning, NY died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Corning Center for Rehabilitation in Corning. David was born on February 28, 1941 in Corning to Francis and Beatrice (Welch) Schilberger. He was a graduate of Corning Free Academy and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

David married Sharon Smith in 1967 and was preceded in death by her in 2016. David retired from Corning Incorporated as a machinist in 2005 after 40 years of service. He is survived by two sons, David (Melissa) Schilberger of Painted Post and Steven Schilberger of Corning; grandchildren, Devin and Charlee; sister-in-law, Elaine (Joe) Wilson of Longmont, CO; nieces and nephews, Robert Hall of Ft.

Lauderdale, FL, Tracy Hall of Addison, Sara Wilson of Los Angeles, CA, and Kathryn Wilson of Longmont, CO; loving and faithful dog, Sam. David was predeceased by his brothers, Francis and Robert Schilberger. Donations may be made in David’s name to the Fingerlakes SPCA at www.
