Obituary of Frances Seeley Frances Elizabeth Seeley, age 73, of Campbell, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at home. She was born on December 3, 1944 in Olean, the daughter of Harold and Arelene (Conrad) Fritz. She and her husband Ralph celebrated 50 years of marriage in the summer of 2017.

Fran retired from the Steuben County Department of Social Services serving as Secretary to the Commissioner following many years of dedicated service. She was active in several local antique shops for many years. She is survived by her husband, Ralph, daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Barry Lewis and Elizabeth and Larry McLaughlin, grandchildren, Calum (Cheyenne) Lewis, Zelie Lewis, Rolf Lewis, William Reynolds, Josephine Reynolds, Lawrence McLaughlin, and Jocelyn McLaughlin, and several nieces and nephews.

Fran was predeceased by her grandson, Asa Lewis. Family and friends are invited to call at Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning, on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A short eulogy will follow there at 7:00 pm.

Burial will take place at Bath National Cemetery on Tuesday at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations to Care First, 3805 Meads Creek Road, Painted Post, NY 14870. To leave kind words or to share a memory, please visit www.
