Obituary for Beulah May Whited Beulah May Whited, 87, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, at her residence. She was born on October 18, 1930, in Russell County, to the late Frank and Gertie Stillwell Slate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Whited is survived by her son, Damon Shelton and wife Phyllis; four sisters; a brother; two grandchildren, Tammy Cope, and Billy Shelton and wife Jennifer; and four great-grandchildren, Michael Cope, Kendall Cope, Carter Shelton, and Camryn Shelton. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Greenhills Memory Gardens in Richlands, Virginia. The family will receive friends at a drop-in visitation on Tuesday, April 24, at 1165 J.S. Holland Road in Ridgeway.
