Charles W. Benell, 79, of Bridgeton, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born in Diamond, IN on February 5, 1939, the son of William H. Benell and Virginia B. Lawrence Benell. He graduated in 1957 from Bridgeton High School and was a life long member of Bridgeton United Methodist Church, Gold Wing Club Chapter D, Covered Bridge Squares and Parke County 4-H where he served on several committees.

Survivors include his wife, Judith; a son, Mark Benell and his wife Jane of Rosedale; a daughter, Cheryl Mager and her husband, James of Carbon; grandchildren, Kacie Benell, Shelby Benell, Caitlyn Mager Denny and her husband, Justin, MaKenzie Mager and fiancé, Kody Zumwalt and Marle’ Mager; a sister, Barbara Searing of Rosedale; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and his in-laws, Donald and Arline Anderson. Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, September 28, 2018 in Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave, Brazil with Pastors Jack Hopkins and Perry Mager officiating. Burial will be in Clear Run Cemetery.
