Colleen Iris Ford May 23, 1931 – January 20, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Colleen Ford, age 87, a lifelong resident of Clifford, MI passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Christensen Care Adult Foster Care Home in Marlette, MI. She was born May 23, 1931 in Clifford, MI daughter of the late Harry and Gladys (Page) Markle and raised on the family farm. Colleen married Edsel Ford in November of 1948.

She retired in 1990 after 18 years as a cook for Ruth’s Restaurant in Marlette. Colleen loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed working in the yard, walking and Bingo.

Colleen is survived by two children, Bonnie Ford and Edsel “Skeeter” (Linda) Ford Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; one sister Joann (Harold) Dost; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Ford; three children, Connie Sides, Monica Cameron and Roger Ford; four sisters; and three brothers. The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette.
