Born to the late Gurthie and Fannie (Jeffers) Tuck in Loudon. John was member of Union Fork Creek Baptist Church.

John worked at many things during his life, he especially enjoyed the many years he worked side by side with his brother at Carroll’s Bargain Box. He was a serious gardener and preserver of vegetables and was looking forward to his next season. Preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Ida Sue (Russell) Tuck; sisters, Dweida Barger, Olamae Childress and Lillie Russell.

Survivors include his daughter, Shelby Jean Tuck, Loudon; granddaughter, Lisa Watson, Niota; great-grandboys, Michael Wooten and Johnny Wooten; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Carroll Tuck; sisters, Nora Akins Jacobs and Ketha Cook, numerous nieces and nephews. Service honoring and remembering Mr. Tuck will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, McGill-Karnes Chapel with Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating.

Interment 11:00 AM Friday in Valley View Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday prior to the service at McGill-Karnes Funeral Home, 406 Wharf St. Loudon, TN 37774. www.
