Obituary for Johnniestine Causey Johnniestine Causey entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at University Medical Center in New Orleans at the age of 62. She was born August 10, 1956 to the late Ben and Algina Hynes Causey. She was a member of Law Street C.O.G.I.C.

She also attended George Washington Carver Senior High school. Johnniestine is survived by children, Tashonda Causey, Tasha Causey, Tina M. Causey, Travis R. Causey (Andrelle), Jerrica J. Causey, Johnathan Causey, Jonnita Causey, Gabriel Causey, Gary Causey, Virginia Causey; she is also survived by 9 siblings, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Ricks.

A Celebration of Life will be held at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave. , New Orleans, LA 70125 on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 9:00 am. Visitation will begin at 8:00 am.

Pastor Mat E. Turner, Officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Rd. New Orleans, La 70127.
