Judith Ann Seneczyn, 68 beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister of Granite City, Illinois passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at her home. Judith was born on December 6, 1949 in Troy, Illinois; the daughter of the late William and Virginia (Detwieler) Laird. Judith was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Granite City and was a homemaker.

Judith will be missed by all who knew her and will be remembered for her kind heart and all the special times she shared with her family and friends. She is survived by and will be missed by her son; Thomas N, Seneczyn Jr. of Granite City; daughter, Shelley Seneczyn of Parker, CO; grandchildren, Billy Seneczyn, Samantha Rachael Kowalchik, Caroline Elaine Kowalchik; brother, Bill (Melissa) Laird and many other close family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded by her husband; Thomas N. Seneczyn Sr. whom she married on January 17, 1969 and who passed away on February 28, 2000 and her brother, Scott Laird.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City. In celebration of Judith’s life, services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Alan Beuster officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL.
