Jules Pellerin, Jr. July 02, 1947 – January 27, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook CATAHOULA ~ Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Lakefront Community Church (4373 Catahoula Hwy, St. Martinville, LA 70582) for Jules Pellerin, Jr., age 71, who passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at The Carpenter House in Lafayette. Mr. Pellerin was a native of New Iberia and a resident of Catahoula for the past thirty years. He was the Deacon of Lake Front Community Church.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Survivors include six daughters, Rebecca Pellerin and her boyfriend, Anthony Dugas, of Catahoula, Jami Hebert and her husband, Daniel, Jr., of St. Martinville, Jana Pelto and her fiancé, Tim Gilbreath, of Haleyville, AL, Anitra Quebedeaux and her husband, Joey, Jr., of Avery Island, Nicolle Pellerin of Jacksonville, TX and Teah Blanchard and her husband, Alfred, Jr., of New Iberia; one son, Kevin Pellerin of New Iberia; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; two brothers, Gilbert Pellerin and his wife, Deborah, of Rayne, and Perry Pellerin and his wife, Chyrl, of New Iberia; and one sister, Janelle Boudreaux of Lydia; twelve nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Sherry Branscum of Baton Rouge. He was preceded in death by one son, Edward “Bubba” Pellerin; one daughter, Angela Pellerin; one granddaughter, Bianca Perez; his parents, Jules Pellerin, Sr. and the former Louise Viator; and three brothers, Rodney Pellerin, Edward Pellerin and Russell Pellerin.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. and will continue after the 11:00 a.m. service until 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Lakefront Community Church (4373 Catahoula Hwy, St. Martinville, LA 70582). Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue, (337) 896-6366, is in charge of arrangements.
