Eugene “Peanut” Gravouia May 16, 1958 – January 23, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card BREAUX BRIDGE ~ Private services for immediate family will be held for Eugene John Gravouia, age 60, who passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 11:35 p.m. at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Mr. Gravouia is a native of Lafayette and was a resident of Breaux Bridge. He was self-employed as a carpenter for more than 40 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish. Survivors include one son, Jake Gravouia and fiancée, Sherell Alleman; one daughter, Brandi Royer and husband, Dustin; two grandchildren, Wesley Gravouia and Stella Royer; four brothers, Francis Gravouia, Jr., Ricky Gravouia, Dwayne Gravouia and Darren Gravouia; and two sisters, Mona Cormier and Della Ardoin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Gravouia, Sr. and the former Cecile Hebert; and two sisters, Margaret Babineaux and Cynthia Mamer.
