Larry G. Galbreath, age 68, of York, South Carolina and formerly of Elwood passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Agape Hospice House Care Center in Lexington, South Carolina following a brief battle with cancer. He was born on July 22, 1949, in Elwood to the late Walter and Dorothy (Wilson) Galbreath. Larry was self-employed as a Construction worker for many years.

He was a faithful member of Lifeway Church in York, SC . He enjoyed reading and fishing with friends from his church. Larry is survived by 7 brothers, Bill Galbreath and Carl Galbreath of Elwood, Terry Galbreath and Don Galbreath of Georgetown, TX, Albert Galbreath, Rich Galbreath, and Billy Galbreath of Elwood, 3 sisters, Frances Wilson of Alexandria, Ethel Morris of Elwood, and Barbara Carmichael of Atlanta.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings. Larry was cremated and a memorial service will be held on June 10 at the Lifeway Church in York, SC. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Dunnichay Funeral Home.
