Randy “Joe” Lane, age 63, of Elwood, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Community Howard Regional Hospital in Kokomo. He was born on September 26, 1954 in Elwood to the late Donald and Joyce (Kemp) Lane. Joe worked in Production at Dana Corporation in Fort Wayne for more than 15 years .

He was a member of Zion Chapel Church in Elwood. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed tending his yard, summertime was his favorite season. Joe enjoyed camping, listening to music- the louder the better, and he was always doing something in his garage.

He loved polishing, shinning and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. More than anything else, Joe loved his grandchildren and being with his family. Joe’s family includes, 2 daughters, Holly (Peter) Perez of Auburn and Sarah Lane of Elkhart, 2 sons, Chad Lane and Eric Lane of Goshen, grandchildren, Isaiah Lane, Blake Kilgore, Bailey Joe Kilgore, Kameron Lane, Natalie Lane, Arianna Lane, Xavier Lane, Alyvia Perez, and a great-grandchilddue in 2018, sister and brothers, Melissa (Kurt) Faulstich of Elwood, Donald “Nuke” Lane, Deborah (Terry) Everling, Susan Thompson, Geneva, Steven Lane, Michael (Melissa) Lane, Robbie Lane, and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Randy “Joe” was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Joyce Lane. Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Monday, May 7, 2018 at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood. Burial will follow in the Elwood City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, May 7, 2018, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson Street, Elwood, Indiana. Online condolences can be given at www. dunnichayfuneralhome.com.
