Obituary for LeAnn L. Clegg LeAnn L. Clegg, 78 of Grand Island died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at CHI Health St. Francis with her loving family at her side. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Services will be 10 AM Tuesday in the Gollaher Chapel of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Reverend David Clark will officiate. Cremation will take place following the service. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in the Grand Island Cemetery.

LeAnn was born August 6, 1939 at Grand Island the daughter of William and Julia (Schwartz) Lorance. She was raised and received her education in Grand Island graduating from Grand Island Senior High School. She married “Jerry” Gerald Tagge in 1962.

To this union they had two children, Michael and Caprice. On April 6, 1974 she was united in marriage to Harry Clegg and become mother to his son, Michael Leroy Clegg. LeAnn worked as a rout carrier for the Grand Island Independent and was an in-home daycare provider for many years for many children.

She earned her CNA License having taken care of an elderly friend for over 4 years. She is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Some of her many enjoyments included being a devoted bingo player, loved playing cards, watching game shows and relaxing with a slot machine at the casino.

During her early years she loved dancing with Harry at the Satellite Club and Eagles Club. She loved spending time – having fun with her sister, Pauline. Those left to cherish her memory are son, Michael Gerald Clegg, daughter, Caprice (Ken) Green and son, Michael Leroy Clegg all of Grand Island; grandchildren, Amelia, Felisha, Beaun, Hope, Alexis and Austin; great-grandchildren, Alana, Garrett, Kira and Dylan and her sister, Pauline (Garry) Bolles of Grand Island.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry, her parents and brother, William Lorance, Jr. Memorials are suggested to GRACE, Grand Island Area Cancer Endowment.
