Obituary for Ms. Leola Cassell Leola Cassell, 90, of 517 B Cedarwood Lane, West Union, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018, at South Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation. A native of Salem, SC, Ms. Cassell was the daughter of the late Tyler and Artie Murphy Cassell. She was a nursing aide at Pruitt Health and a member of Gap Hill Holiness Church.

Ms. Cassell was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cassell was preceded in death by her brothers: Lewis, Johnny, Davis, Buford, Luther, Charley and Jay Cassell; and sisters: Rosa Cassell and Nancy Summey. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Keowee Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 PM, Wednesday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted. The family is at their respective homes.
