CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Lillie Jane “Toots” Boyd, 87, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Russell County Medical Center, Lebanon, Virginia.

She was born in Lebanon, Virginia; daughter of the late James and Nannie Bell Cook Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Glenn Boyd; one grandson, Danny Boyd; one brother, James “Brown” Harold Robinson; two sisters, Mary Tribbett and Virginia Ruth Lewis. She was a member of Trammel Baptist Church for sixty-nine years and taught Sunday School for forty-five of those years.

Left to carry on her memory is her daughter, Reba “Kitty” Katherine Boyd; three sons, Glenn “Doug” Douglas Boyd and Patricia, Clifford “Cliff” Boyd and Geraldine, Harold “Joe” Joseph Boyd and Renee; eight grandchildren, Den (Katrina) Fuller, April Fuller, Krysta (Justin) Boyd, Stephanie (Jamey) Gross, Chris Boyd, Tanner Boyd, Heather (Beth) Kiser, and Kayla (Wayne) Townes; four great grandchildren, Jacob Gross, Andrew Townes, Destiny Townes, and Robbie Fuller; great-great grandchild, Lacey Boyd; two brothers, Joe Robinson and George (Imogene) Robinson; three sisters, Bertha Jean Gunter, Alice (J. T.) Riggs, and Bonnie (J. B.) Evans; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Lillie Jane “Toots” Boyd will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Jim Pratt officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2019 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.

Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Pallbearers will be Andrew Townes, Jamey Gross, Jacob Gross, Tanner Boyd, Wayne “Knob” Ring, Den Fuller, and Justin Boyd. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
