Owena Margaret (Crowe) Miller, 84, of Grantsville, MD, went to her heavenly home with Jesus on Monday, May 21, 2018, at WMHS Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD, surrounded by her children. Born on June 15, 1933, in Grantsville, she was the daughter of the late Owen McKinley and Nellie Irene (Poleman) Crowe. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Owen Crowe; one sister, Viola (Crowe) Davis; one son, Terry Miller and son-in-law, Roy Stein.

She was a graduate of Grantsville High School and Catherman’s Business School, and was retired from Flushing Shirt Manufacturing after 30+ years of service. She was a dedicated Mother, Grandmother and special friend and historian to her many neighbors within Casselman Ventures Apartment Building. She touched many lives with her generosity, warm heart and kind spirit.

She was a member of the Jennings United Methodist Church. Owena is survived by two daughters, Brenda Stein, Atlanta, GA and Barb Stanton, Canton, OH; two sons, Wayne Miller and wife, Theresa, Oakland, MD and Rick Miller and wife, Debbie, Gorman, MD; six grandchildren, Michele Tomczak and husband, Jason, Heather Stein, Michael Stanton, Jason Stanton and wife, Amanda, Jacob Miller and fiancée, Nicole, and Makayla Miller; seven great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Samuel and Ezra Tomczak, Josie, Hunter and Owen Stanton, and Haylee Miller. A graveside service will be conducted in the Grantsville Cemetery on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with Glenn Maust officiating.
