Pamlia Joyce Crispo, 68, wife of the Mike Christopher Crispo, of Westminster, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 27, 2019. A native of Pickens, SC, Mrs. Crispo was the daughter of the late William Hagood Childress and Vera Grace Dickson Childress. She retired from Kendall and later worked at Big Lots.

Mrs. Crispo was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Crispo is survived by her sisters: Sadie Childress Lamunion of Summerville, SC, Winifred Childress Hindman (Thomas) of Powdersville, SC and Katherine Childress Albertson (Rod) of Walhalla, SC; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crispo was preceded in death by her brothers: Bill Childress, Jim Childress and B.F. Childress; and sisters: Willa Mae Dailey, Mary Reeder, Margarit Stancell, Betty Sewell, Fannie Churchwell, Wilma Hines and Nora Ruby Blizzard.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 1, 2019, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery, Six Mile, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, P.O. Box 458, Walhalla, SC 29691.
